Fore it is in the trying times your love will be tested and weathered but will withstand all in accountabilities/shortcomings. Through our Lord Jesus Christ we have learned and been taught the proper way to love/lean on our Heavenly Father in good times and bad: knowing that no matter the trial or tribulation, God will always make and find a way to turn tragedy into triumph. In Him, we are and remain triumphant in all we do when it is done to the will of our Father in heaven and not the world.

In Christ, we are healed in our Lord we are victorious and in our Holy Spirit we are steadfast to bring forth the will of God the Father Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth. In all conditions in this life, remain in the Will of God and you will remain triumphant.

Was I somewhat on track at one point? Have I always been one or the other? Why ask. Who cares. Again. so much time spent analyzing instead of living. (And again, not entirely true. My photo albums are filled with several memories, experiences, vacations, friends, family, gatherings, events, people, places and things! Good grief, man, how much do you want from life? Everything? All the pleasures and not of the pain! All of the desires and none of the consequences. No, not a sinful life; a fulfilled life; mind body and spirit. But this is deeper than the world can give; I believe what I truly desire is on the other side of life; paradise with Jesus as the throne; be patient; it’s coming 😊 )

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 The Cheerful Giver

⁶ The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully^[a] will also reap bountifully. ⁷ Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Serving the Lord with a full heart is joyous; in joy, there is happiness; contentment is NOT  a bad word. It is far too often confused and misplaced by complacent. Contentment is good. Complacent, well, not so much.

 

Knowing this does little to solve the riddle. Can one live as they are intended and realize peace; while also being a blessing to others? (Um, yes! We just answered that! repeatedly through this journal journey! True happiness is being in cheerfully and willingly in line with the Will of God; John 10:10! Come on man! Get it together! Life is what you make it, where ever you are; from the shores of small fishing villages to skyscrapers in bustling cities…it’s true:

We are all broken and suffering in sin and you can also come out your sin of lust, perversion and confusion by first renewing your mind and then facing your demons head on and once you get saved, get clean and turn away from your sin and do not return to that life.

Homosexuality will be judged right along with murder, theft, lying and cheating and more. You do NOT have to kill, steal or destroy! This is a choice. you do NOT have to murder, take from others, lie on another person to bring yourself up and you do NOT have to violate the precious delicate spirit and body you were given in this one and only life, dressing up like the opposite sex and hating yourself. Projecting your insecurities, fears and frustrations on to others is utterly disgusting and hurtful to you and the ones subjected to your hurt and pain. A person who does not agree with murder is NOT phobic! They’re not AFRAID of murder, they simply do not CONDONE KILLING PEOPLE! Homosexuality is the same thing! Like it or not. just like suicide and abortion are still murder! no way around it. just stop doing it. period.

A short incredibly inaccurate story

Adam, the baby, had a choice. He was not strong enough in physical spiritual and universal intelligence to maintain or sustain an independent presence amongst the powers of his brothers so he had to choose refuge among one or the other. Adam came to find the whole purpose for his existence was to love and be loved by his family. Adam was never born to be king. Neither was Lucifer. Only the first son, the Morning Star, could be King. And so, it came to pass, God moved on to become an elder in the roundtable of allegiances, Jesus became Lord of Lords King of Kings, Lucifer stayed behind at old Milky Way, reigning as prince over all that remains of the galaxy. Adam chose to live with his big brother Jesus, in Barhadece (just a made-up word for Paradise but pronounced bah – rah – day – say).

That was a fictitious story OBVIOUSLY that Never Happened!  But just like I just made that up in 2005, there’s people all over the world, making up stories daily since the dawn of time, not knowing the TRUE story in the Bible. I guess it’s true if people never read it or understood it, they truly don’t know! Jesus was spot on as usual when He said Hosea 4:6. Our people truly do perish and can be destroyed for their lack of knowledge! I guess that’s why it’s our job, our duty, our responsibility to God, to get the Good News out there; these kinds of stories are primitive and normally told around camp fires from elders to young ones but at some point, the Gospel needs to get in there and clean up the folk lore, fake stories and misleading representations of the One True Gospel.

What is Love?

 

So, what does God want from me? Love. Out of that, comes a roaring rushing river; full of service adoration worship and praise. Think about it. When you “love” someone; you “do” because you “want” to; not because you “have to”.

 

You care because it’s genuinely out of concern and respect. You lean in; not away. You want to protect them; hold them, kiss them, squeeze them and caress them. You want to educate them, scold them, keep them around forever. Because you “love” them. When you love someone truly, you are committed. You would do anything for them, even if it means putting yourself in danger or putting your own heart or your own life on the line.

 

You do this not out of desperation; you’re doing that out of love! That’s the same kind of burning desire God hopes that you would have for Him! This undying urge to be in His presence, spend time with Him, get to know Him; he’s not lonely, He’s far from alone!

 

That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about a personal intimate relationship. Not a slave - master punishment of abuse and indentured servitude. That’s not God’s love. Love because you have it in you to give; not because you’re going through the motions.

 

Just like a person can see that you don’t mean it; God can see that too! He knows when you’re faking it and when you really mean it. Love out of kindness; let your gestures be outward expressions of that love. Let your obedience be an outward extension of that love!

 

It is the greatest source of all! His Love returned to Him is the greatest return on investment He could ask for. There’s nothing like the solid bond that cannot be broken between God and his child who loves Him as He loves the child.

 

Genesis 2:7 ; that’s intimacy ( that’s personal ; meaningful )

Genesis 2: 21-21; that’s delicacy ( that’s patience; takes His time )

Genesis 1:28 ; that’s trust ( when you love somebody you trust them )

Genesis 3: 21 – 23; that’s care ( forgiveness ; we do this endlessly when we love someone )

John 3:16 ( that’s sacrifice – you put others before yourself when you’re “in” love )

 

And the list goes on and on. From Genesis to Revelation again. It’s the greatest love story ever told. A story about a Creator who made a creation in hopes that it would give and receive love; when it could not or was not able; more love was poured about in abundance to save the creation from danger and death; restore and heal the creation so that once again, they might have a chance to live and love again. if you truly understand, it should break your heart to tears. This. Is. Love.

 

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

 

Satan says to Jesus, “why don’t you just leave? They’re diseased hateful and abusive! They don’t love you! Leave them!” But Jesus does NOT give up. He continues to fight for out of LOVE. Don’t ever tell an abuse victim, why don’t you just leave. It’s not ignorance or pity for the abuser; in the case of humans vs God – it’s love! Every chapter of the Bible – love is the underline of the story. Love is the point. Love is choice.

See? Satan and Jesus. Every story every written on earth; every TV show, movie, poem, all of it! Is a repeat from the Bible! I guarantee if you really sat down and decoded everything program you ever watched, unpacked every movie you ever saw, somewhere in the plot, there’s the Bible.  Even adult film and horror is Biblical. It’s literally the days of Noah and Jesus all over again. There’s nothing new under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 1: 8-10). 

 

For me personally, wow, this kicked in and explains a lot of why from the time I wrote that journal entry in 2005 to now, I’m technically still stuck in the same place: Ecclesiastes 1 : 16 – 18.

We were made to Love Him

 We were made from “their” likeness. (mind body soul) WE WERE MADE TO LOVE GOD. This is where our ‘Epic’ becomes a love story. The greatest love story ever told. God creates us with “like” powers – the ability to reason, create, share intimacy; to know passion, laughter and pain. Through this “likeness”, we are able to experience wonder and imagination and most of all, we have the ability to dream.

 

Lastly, we have the ability to love. Love is the point. It is the reason for it all. Sadly, love has no boundary and must not be bound or controlled in any way. In short, love is an invisible power that we cannot see. It chooses you. You don’t choose it. you cannot control wo you love or force anyone to love you against their will. This is the problem of pain for God. Because we have free “will”.

 

(Now here, the verbiage is correct, not a misnomer, but the full sentence should be ‘because we have freedom to exercise our willpower’. In the truest sense of the word: we have the ability to control or restrain our impulses.)

 

Is willpower and self-control the same?

But self-control and willpower are different. Self-control refers to managing your behavior to achieve goals, improve positive outcomes, and avoid negative consequences. Whereas willpower is the ability to resist short-term temptations and desires to achieve long-term goals

Our “willpower” comes from God. We are not able on our own.

 

The Holy Spirit living in the Christian is far stronger than any attack by the Devil. This encouragement should empower believers not to fear Satan, but rather trust the Lord and obey His commands. By doing so, we can overcome the powers of darkness and walk with boldness in this life.

God cannot force us to Love Him. God can only hope we ‘love’ in return. We know we are not what we were meant to be. We all fail on the most essential virtue of all. We fail when it comes to loving. We fail to love God. We fail to love ourselves.

 

Consider also, this. Every great story has a ‘rescue’. God has a rescue plan to save love and rescuing the human heart in the hardest mission in the world. Do we even want to be rescued? For those of us who do not, they will not be saved. Saved from whom? Themselves. God experiences sadness, pain and jealousy just like we do, however, it is magnified times the power of ten. God is a lover scorned; betrayed over and over again.

 

God’s love for us is greater than the pain and this is why God’s Plan is to ‘rescue’ us from captivity – the captivity of the heart.
