God is not going to play whack-a-mole with us in our sick sad state of affairs. It makes total sense why he’s saying, I’m not going to “save” you in your “sin”, I’m going to SAVE you FROM your sin. Instead of chasing the solution, obliterate the problem from existence. Eradicate the cause and the effect only has to be done once for all. Not individually, countless times. That would be insanity and God is far from insane.

 

It would make no sense to put a band aid on a broken leg when clearly it needs surgery. You don’t try to patch Niagara Falls with a pint of spackle and expect it to stop the waters! You can’t cut the head off when another just grows in its place – you annihilate the body and the head from all existence for eternity and call it a day! That’s God.

In Genesis 3 God metes out various judgments against those who brought sin into His perfect world. Adam, Eve, and the serpent all hear of the consequences of their rebellion. To the serpent God says, in part, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel”

 

You’ve got to get rid of the snake altogether and anything that comes from people with their focus on the world money cars clothes homes beauty politics socialism ideology religion etc., they’re not paying attention to GOD!

 

No wonder it’s so easy to lead people astray. For those of us who are paying attention with eyes to see and ears to hear, we are NOT surprised by the 2^nd coming of Christ.

 

But those who are blind and deaf to the TRUTH with scales over their eyes and muffles over their ears, they will not see Him, they will be shocked and amazed.
